Overview
Designed for use in the food industry, the Extech TM55 Pocket Fold-Up Food Thermometer measures the temperature of liquids, pastes and semi-solids for all-purpose food checks. With a fast response time of less than 5 seconds in moving liquids, the TM55 displays temperature results on a large LCD display with 0.1° resolution. The probe can be positioned from a 0° angle for storage to a 180° angle during use.

Mechanics
Its ultrasonically welded housing is IP65 waterproof rated to protect the electronics in case of splashing. The automatic power-off function turns the unit off after 60 minutes of inactivity, preserving and extending the life of the battery. A built-in magnetized strip attaches to a refrigerator for easy access.
